		<description>There is something tremendous about youth like these rocking up at this political heavyweight face-off, and telling it like it is. As Canadian youth said in their witty press release that as a &quot;matter of good old fashioned values&quot;, they were apologising for a problem &quot;not of our making&quot;. 
With this kind of articulate youth generation activism, maybe they don&#039;t need the older generation, who did indeed let this happen, to stay in the room! I hope they arrive at the next COP in even larger numbers!</description>

What about the conflicts over grazing and water rights? President Zuma told the launch of COP17 that by 2050 half of Africa&#039;s agricultural output will be kaput -- destroyed by climate change. I can only imagine what urgency this places on African farmers, corporate and subsistance. And, one has to wonder about the cynacism of developed nations whose pollution has caused most of the trouble.</description>
